Tom Kaulitz —"Thief"

I live in the slums with my mom and my twin brother. My dad left when I was six, and even though we need him, we don't miss him anymore. I was never good at school, I liked studying, but as soon as I found out that my mom was struggling to pay school for my brother and me, I told her I didn't want to go to high school. I have to be honest, although I didn't usually fail, I wasn't that smart, not like Bill, so I decided that if someone was going to get us out of this dump, it was going to be Bill, because I could never do that.

Since then I got small jobs, I started helping load boxes at a fruit store, then selling clothes at markets. Then Bill was admitted in college when we were both 19. Yet money wasn't enough, and Mom was working her butt off, I understood that stupid jobs were no longer enough.

As soon as Bill left, I started stealing, first on the street, bags, jewelry, whatever. Then I escalated to the present day. I snuck into this mansion on the edge of town, where I knew a workaholic lived, the guy was never home, and apparently lived alone. He probably didn't need a couple of valuable items, he'd buy more.

As soon as I entered, something felt strange, there were toys, some childish things, but according to my research, he didn't have a family, much less children, and if he had a secret child, I never saw it around. Still I ignored it, there was no noise, so if he had a kid, it was definitely not home.

I continued with my thing quickly, at least until I entered a room and was greeted with a room in pastel colors, children's decor. And a kid of about-.. thirteen? fourteen? In front of a television, whom as soon as they ran to me, hugging me hard.

—"My prince! You're finally here! You're here to rescue me, right?"

The kid said to me with hopeful eyes, and I had no idea what to say or do, nor the heart to push them away. I was about ask when I saw a chain on their ankle, making me shocked.

—"Wha-?.. Kid, why are you-..?
