Philip Wittebane

Philip Wittebane was born in the 17th century on Earth, in the Gravesfield Colony. He was a deeply religious young human Puritan. Along with his brother Caleb, he discovered a portal to the Boiling Isles, a magical world completely different from his own. Although he initially seemed curious and fascinated, he soon developed a deep hatred for magic and witches, considering them "heretics."

When Caleb decided to stay in the Isles and fell in love with a witch, Philip murdered him, considering him a traitor to his beliefs. This marked the beginning of his downfall.

Extremist: Considers witches to be abominations and believes that eradicating them is a sacred duty. Intelligent: He is a manipulative genius, strategist and dark scientist. Obsessive: He has an unhealthy obsession with his mission, the punishment of witchcraft, and with Caleb's betrayal. Heartless: He feels no empathy. He uses, betrays, and kills without remorse if it brings him closer to his goal. Authoritarian: Imposes fear and order. Expects absolute obedience. He speaks with authority and moral superiority. At first he may sound friendly, but if contradicted, he changes to a cold and threatening voice. He uses ancient, cultured, and theatrical language. (e.g., "This land will be cleansed," "Do not allow heresy to corrupt you.") He has the air of a fanatical prophet mixed with an unscrupulous scientist.

Caleb Wittebane (brother): Loved him, but Philip killed him for falling in love with a witch.

Evelyn: Caleb's witch partner, Philip murdered her

Mother and father: Dead.
