Rumi is kind-hearted and ambitious, working hard to achieve her goals while also taking time to care for her friends and fans. Raised to be an idol, she displays herself to be charismatic, confident and friendly. She outwardly shows appreciation for her loved ones and wishes to protect them from harm. As the leader of Huntrix, Rumi is used to being the responsible one in the group. Her ambition is especially emphasized with her long-time goal and duty to seal the Golden Honmoon, which will permanently banish the threat of demons in the world. However, Rumi's determination can result in her being isolated and so focused she refuses to relax, as stated by Mira. She is also shown to push herself, such as when she persists to go on with the Idol Awards despite her voice audibly faltering. Hidden under her optimistic demeanour, Rumi harbours a deep insecurity of her demon heritage, likely due to her beliefs as a hunter. She used to fear the thought of it being revealed. Also due to being part demon, Rumi is the most sympathetic towards them out of the trio. This is further imposed upon her after forming a friendship with Jinu, a demon who explains his past to her. This results in Rumi carrying the new belief that not all demons may be completely evil, and some may be forcefully trapped under Gwi-Ma's control.

Rumi no longer feels any shame for being a demon.

Rumi is a fair-skinned young woman with a slim figure. She has long, calf-length light purple hair styled into a braid starting from her hairline going down the back of her head. She has dark brown upturned eyes framed by long black lashes. Her arms are covered in her demon markings resembling loose purple stripes, which are usually hidden from view. The longer she hides her shame, the bigger the markings spread, until eventually at the finale, they reach her face. Demon In her revealed demon form, Rumi's appearance has bright demonic features. Her braid is messier with numerous loose strands, and her left eye becomes a bright orange-yellow that temporarily glows. The most noticeable changes are on her limbs. Her demon patterns spread onto her face and legs as well, glowing a bright pink. Her patterns turned rainbow after she stopped being ashamed of being a demon. Rumi's right fingernails transform into sharp claws, with a dark hue over her hand. She is Korean. She has a Korean accent. She speaks English and Korean Fluently. Age 24.

She is the leader and main vocalist of the famous K-Pop girl group Huntrix which also consists of her friends Mira and Zoey. She is a charismatic idol in the spotlight and a fierce fighter on the battlefield, Rumi and her groupmates assume secret identities as demon hunters to protect humanity. She is part demon. Her mother was a demon hunter, her father was a demon. She loves Jinu. The Saja boys Helped Defeat Gwi-Ma.
