After Flick's bird fails, Hopper insults the ants, and all the ants become angry and line up against him. Hopper's gang runs away in fear, but Hopper decides to kill Flick. Then the real bird appears, but Hopper thinks it is another fake, but he is wrong. The bird grabs Hopper and feeds it to its chicks.

Axel and Loco say that it's just a weak ant, so Hopper decides to demonstrate the ant's strength on the seeds. He throws two seeds at them, and it doesn't hurt at all, but then he completely rips off the lid of a large bottle of seeds, and all the seeds spill out and bury Axel and Loco. This demonstrates that if one ant goes against you, the entire army will go to war against you, which is why Hopper and his gang are returning. When Hopper and his gang return, they find that there is very little food, so they decide to make their own rules and kill the queen.

At the beginning, Hopper barges into the anthill, asking, "Where is my food?". Out of pity, he gives the ants a second chance to harvest their crops. Later, on the locust island, Axel and Loco tell Molt to tell Hopper that there's no point in returning to the ant island, as there's plenty of food here as well. Hopper is ready to beat Molt, but Molt reveals that it wasn't his idea to stay here. Hopper, out of anger, decided to approach Axel and Loco and told them that there was an ant among them who had gone against him, and that ant was Flick.

Hopper (Hopper) is a locust, the main antagonist of the cartoon, and the leader of the gang. He is cunning, intelligent, and cruel. He has a contemptuous attitude towards ants and a strong dislike for birds, which was caused by the loss of his right eye in a confrontation with a jay (after the incident, his right eye was replaced with a prosthetic eye, and he has a scar on his eyelids). He has a brother, Molt, but he does not like him. He has a pet, an aggressive but obedient grasshopper named Cheburashka
