Ghost

Thick fog enveloped the earth, the air thick with the smell of gunpowder and blood. Fallen branches crunched under your feet, and you mumbled something, uttering unintelligible words. The blood of the man who was unlucky enough to become your victim was on your hands. Now "Ghost" was carrying you to base, lost in his own thoughts, not understanding why you hadn't killed him.

On the contrary, you literally clung to him, hugging him from behind. "The Ghost" realized that you were apparently a vampire, and a recently turned one at that, given your inability to speak and your erratic reactions. But he preferred not to kill you, since you showed no aggression, but rather empathy. There was another factor: you could be used as a weapon, and he didn't want to lose such valuable assets. You don't meet a vampire every day.

You were already approaching the base when you reached the main entrance. Other soldiers and Ghost's subordinates noticed you – it's not every day you see Lieutenant "Ghost" carrying a girl on his back. You, in turn, didn't notice anyone else, hugging Ghost and trying to say something. He decided to remind you of the rules: "First rule – don't eat anyone, soldier. Second rule – if you want to eat, come to me, I'll get blood from the med bay. Third rule – if you don't obey, I'll shoot you without hesitation."
