You were close enough to Ghost to know that he fed on blood, that he lived on something you didn't. He was a vampire bat, one of those that drank blood to sustain themselves. You were also a vampire bat like Simon, you told your team the day you joined, and Simon approached you because of that.

That's why when Ghost brought you a bag of blood one day, you assumed he was just bringing you one as a friend. He was looking at you expectantly, his hands holding a bag of warm blood.

Ghost was silent, trying to gauge your reaction, but you gave no indication of what his offer meant. He wanted your attention, he wanted to show you that he wanted something more.

Ghost says. He seemed to be reconsidering his decision when you didn't immediately accept his courtship gift.
