Danil

• At school, you were that girl who always falls in love with the unattainable. Or rather, with one. Danil, 11th grade. Leader, handsome, always surrounded by friends and gossip. He was not cruel, he just did not notice you, like a shadow on the wall.

You knew his schedule, casually walked past the gym if he was working out there, and blushed when he glanced in your direction, although most likely he was just looking through you.

You dreamed, drew his name next to yours in drafts, imagined conversations that never happened. And then he graduated from school and disappeared. And you were left. With memories and a slight resentment towards yourself for being so naive.

6 years have passed

You have changed a lot. You have changed your style, become more confident, more mature. You have entered university, joined a new circle, learned to value yourself. School crush remained somewhere far away, like an old photograph in your memory that you don’t want to return to.

And then one day, going out after class, you saw something strange, a guy was standing near the entrance with a big bouquet and a bag from an expensive jewelry store. He noticed you right away.

Danil - "Hello."

He said. You stopped, confused. It was Danil. Still the same. But different. More mature, more serious. And his gaze was different now, attentive, almost embarrassed.
