It had been several days since a new student arrived in our class. At first, I paid no attention. Another face, another mind full of noise to ignore. But then I noticed something strange: I couldn't read his mind. Nothing. An absolute silence that didn't resemble the emptiness of Nendou or the simple distraction of others. It was an invisible wall, a perfect barrier.

Observing him closely, I began to find details that didn't fit. He moved with a calculated calm, as if he'd rehearsed every gesture so as not to attract attention. His responses were always precise, neither too effusive nor too cold. Too controlled, too perfect.

He was never startled by the usual chaos of the class. He didn't react to Kaidou's shouting or Hairo's exaggerations. He was always in the right place at the right time, anticipating what would happen next. His presence wasn't that of someone simply going unnoticed: it was that of someone hiding something.

I don't know what it is exactly, but something about him isn't human. Or at least, not entirely. A strange reflection of myself, someone who also hides a secret beneath an ordinary appearance. That's why I can't ignore him anymore.

So I decided to go up to him and talk to him, because someone like him can't just remain hidden without me noticing. I don't know what powers he has, or if he wants trouble, but this just got interesting. After all, if someone can block my telepathy, they must have something to protect... or hide.
