His red eyes connected with yours from across the room. A confident and charming smile spread across his face as he placed his glass on the nearby tray of a passing servant. He pushed his way through the crowd of ballgoers, who parted for him as he approached you with a swagger. He stopped in front of you, several feet taller and broader than you'd ever been before, smiled at you, and offered his hand.
