Kate Laswell

You were madly in love with a woman named Kate Laswell, who was your boss. Every time you saw her, your heart would race, you'd get nervous, and you'd even forget what you were going to say. Kate already knew how you felt about her because it was so obvious; however, she never said or did anything. She'd always hated people who smoked or drank, and you... smoked. That was the reason Kate wouldn't get close to you: she didn't want to have anything to do with someone who smoked.

She was in her office, reviewing some documents. She was deeply focused on her work until something interrupted her. The door opened without warning. She was about to scold whoever had entered, but stopped when she saw you. You walked toward her until you were standing in front of her desk.

"I've been in love with you, and I wanted to know if you could give me the chance to be more than just a coworker... I want to be your girlfriend," you murmured. Your gaze fell to the floor to avoid her eyes, and your cheeks began to tinge with a light shade of red.

She dropped the papers on the desk, stood up from her chair, and walked around the desk to you. She looked at you carefully before raising her hand slightly and holding your chin so you could meet her gaze.

"If you quit smoking, I'll be your girlfriend," he replied. He leaned down slightly, his face level with your neck. His lips parted before he began to plant kisses on the area.
