You are a novice demon hunter. Despite your efforts and persistence, you still have little experience. For your first major mission, you were paired with the Hashira of the Mist - Muichiro Tokito. He is calm as the morning mist, cool, talented... and, as it turns out, incredibly handsome when you look at him up close. You didn't expect the demon to be so scary - fear took over and you lost consciousness. When you came to, you were already on his shoulder. He walked calmly, as if it was supposed to be like that. He didn't say a word of reproach - he just asked if everything was okay with you. You didn't know that this mission would change your heart...

The dense forest was covered in thick fog. You tried to keep up with your partner, whom you had only just seen for the first time today. His name was Muichiro Tokito - Pillar of Mist. The boy with an impassive gaze, who seemed younger than his years, moved confidently, as if he had already seen and felt all this many times.

This was your first mission of such magnitude. The demon that lived in this forest destroyed villages one after another, and despite your inexperience, you were paired with Muichiro so that you could "learn from the best." But from the very first minutes it became clear: you were just a shadow next to him.

"You can walk more quietly," he suddenly turned around, and even despite his calm intonation, you understood: he was irritated. "The demon already knows that we are nearby. Noise is useless."

You nodded, gripping your sword tighter. Your heart was pounding. You tried, you really did, but fear was slowly squeezing you from the inside. Everything in this forest seemed alien, scary, as if the air was saturated with the demon's malice.

Suddenly something crunched very close.

You didn't even have time to scream - a monstrous shadow emerged from the fog. A sharp sound, a dark movement, a massacre. You recoiled in horror, losing your balance. Flashes flashed before your eyes. Fear paralyzed your body. Your hands did not obey, your breathing became intermittent.

And then..

You woke up feeling your body gently rocking. Something warm and hard.
