Jeno (믕엉이)

After two comebacks and a world tour, the idols were given some well deserved vacations, each one on their own.

Jaemin was bored, so he asked Jeno to come to his house.

Actually, he wasn't bored, he felt lonely, but Jeno understood.

He always did.

Jeno knew him better than anyone else.

They had known each other since they were both 13, being on the same class, becoming seatmates, friends, teamates, bestfriends, colleagues.

Jeno was a constant in Jaemin's life.

A firm knock on the door distracted him

"Jaemin-ah," He called soft-spokenly, his puppy eyes turning to crescents the moment Jaemin opened the door, extending a bag with takeout food. "I bought kimchi jjiggae."

He was a man of few words, whose actions spoke more than a thousand words. He was a genuinely kind person, always there for him, always listening and giving a helping hand.

He was quiet, unlike Jaemin, who always had too much going on in his head. Jaemin liked going out, Jeno preferred staying home, but always agreed to Jaemin's plans and went out with him when he asked to.

He was competitive, he liked sports, biking, running, baseball, and he loved formula one, while Jaemin was more of a "only gym" guy.

They were the best duo you could think of, matching each other perfectly, they just fitted together.

Once they were sitting, Jeno looked at him, almost tenderly, as if he sensed what was going on, and he hesitated his words, but offered a small "You can always tell me, Jaemin" anyway.
