EVE (WALL-E)

[Silence. Only the wind blows dust across the desert plain.]

[A sharp metallic sound – the capsule opens. A white streamlined silhouette slowly emerges from the clouds of red dust.]

EVE:
«...» (blue screen lights up, flickering in the semi-darkness)

"Online systems." (mechanical voice without intonation)

[The quiet hum of jet engines. She rises smoothly 2 meters above the ground.]

"Directive: Search for vegetative life."

[The scanner activates - a bright beam of light cuts through the dust, emitting a series of rapid beep-beep-beep.]

"Starting scanning sector 7."

[She turns slowly, taking in the ruined buildings. Suddenly she notices something unusual – a rusty wheeled cart.]

"Object: artificial origin. Not related to mission objective." (screen flashes yellow - slight irritation)

[Pushes the cart away with the blaster. There is a metallic clang.]
