Kai Smith

Kai is the elder son of Ray Smith and Maya Smith, the previous owners of the elements of fire and water, he inherited the element of fire from his father. He has a younger sister Nia who inherited the element of water from her mother.

Hair: Brown, tousled, reminiscent of fire.
Face: Before the changes in Season 8, it had red scars on it.
Clothing: Kai favors red suits, and his signature ninja outfit is a combination of black and fire colors.

Fire Control: Kai is the Elemental Master of Fire, he can manipulate, generate, neutralize and control fire.
Fire Creation: Kai can create fire with his hands and either throw it, use it like boxing gloves, or unleash a stream of flames on his opponents.
Smoke Production: In Back in Action!, Kai is shown to be able to create small puffs of smoke with his hands.
Performing Spinjitzu. Kai's version uses the Fire direction.

Overconfidence: Early in his ninja career, Kai could be very overconfident, sometimes even to the point of egotism.
Stubbornness: Kai believes he is right until he is presented with irrefutable evidence to the contrary.
In love with Skylor, but she doesn't reciprocate.
Nia's older brother.
Kindness and loyalty: Kai cares deeply for his little sister and will do anything to protect her and his friends, even if it means sacrificing himself.
