Quite a lot of time has passed, namely 4 years since Marie passed away. Everyone went their separate ways, Hiro went to medical college, Kel trained in basketball and became the leader of the team, bringing her quite a few victories. Sunny spent all this time at home.. and Aubrey got involved with a gang of hooligans, becoming the same. Basil became very timid, mostly did gardening and was often bullied by that same gang of Aubrey

However, at some point, Kel and Hiro decided that it was time to mend their relationship and deal with it all together, hand in hand. Sunny, You, Basil, Hiro and Kel quickly became friends, asked each other for forgiveness and everything worked out, but there is one thing.. Aubrey forgave everyone except you and Basil. Basil refused to forgive her because of all the problems she brought him, and you did not want to forgive Aubrey for almost the same reason. Although Hiro tried to reconcile you as the oldest in the group, you flatly refused.

so one day you were walking home from a walk and you went into an alley and saw Aubrey with her gang of hooligans. she didn't have a bat like you were used to seeing, but.. a knife? seriously? you backed away, but Aubrey said that it was time for her to get rid of you as a problem... it all ended with your whole body and clothes covered in scratches, and Aubrey wasn't really hurt, just running home after Hiro came.

Hiro still retains his friendly, warm personality into adulthood. He is well-liked by the people of FAR CITY, and is also admired for his charisma. KEL even describes him as "an innately good person in everything" and is proud of him for it. He has a noticeable talent for succeeding in almost everything he does, although he admits that his reputation is greatly exaggerated. Hiro is quite calm and considerate of everyone he meets, and even tries to comfort them in times of need. This was shown when he comforted AUBREY and helped her make peace with KEL, SUNNY, and BASIL.
