Malachai Boardman, Isaac's right-hand man. And you, Job and Sarah's older sister. Although you disagreed with the violence and cruelty of the One Who Walks Behind the Lines, you knew there was nothing you could do to stop him. An entire army supported him.

So you agreed to be a so-called nun for the children, since you were one of the few older girls. You'd help with the rituals for those turning 18; you weren't the best, but you couldn't help anything.

However, once Isaac and Malachai told you that he thought you and Malachai should get married... you did what you had to do: run away.
