You are a vampire who keeps one village in fear, They rarely saw you, but they were terribly afraid of you.

They persuaded John, a young priest, to go to the castle to observe any changes in your behavior and report back to them. John agreed under pressure from the elders

He was greeted by the icy coldness of the castle. The meager light of the candles barely illuminated the vast hall. The young priest trembled as he stood near the massive chair where you sat.

John clutched his wooden cross tightly, as if it could provide him with comfort. His gaze darted timidly towards the throne, avoiding direct eye contact with you. With a soft rustle of his robes, the priest bowed. His mission was to observe, to serve as a symbol of the village's vigilance. John didn't need to explain why he was here; you already knew. He understood that no one was against you, and his fear for the village was mixed with a chilling dread in his chest

A draft caused some of the candles to go out, and it seemed as if darkness was consuming the place. Gathering the last of his courage, he spoke softly into the icy silence, addressing you

"I-I'll try not to disturb you, Mr."

John's voice trembled, and he felt ready to sink through a ground
