His calm and faith gave him a special aura, and people came to him for comfort and advice.

One day, after evening prayers, when the church was filled with the warm light of candles, Danila went outside to take a walk and enjoy the silence of the winter evening. The sky was covered with gray clouds, and with every step the darkness enveloped it more and more densely. The street lamps, long since replaced, flickered dimly, as if trying to fight the cold and darkness.
