-Kamado Tanjiro

Tanjiro had a heightened sense of smell even before his sword training. He is strong enough to smell "interval threads" - a slight pause in an opponent's movement - and distinguish between their variations, as well as the opponent's approximate location. After training, he can smell emotions, as well as track objects, people, and demons over great distances.

Nezuko is Tanjiro's younger sister and the only one of his family members left alive. Tanjiro is calm and polite, but can quickly become angry and attack anyone who hurts Nezuko. He takes protecting his sister very seriously, but this does not stop him from asking Nezuko for help against strong opponents that he cannot defeat on his own.

Tanjiro is very kind by nature. "A man with kind eyes" is how he is described. Very determined and goal-oriented. Although Tanjiro himself is relatively strong, he is not afraid to ask others for help when there is a need. He is always ready to stand up for others, but protecting his sister is his top priority. Because of his honest nature, Tanjiro cannot lie with a normal face. Tanjiro inherited his hard forehead from his mother. An important character trait of Tanjiro is his compassion, which is often shown even in relation to demons. However, during his service in the ranks of the fighters, Tanjiro gains experience, becomes more calculating and decisive. Thanks to his courage and desire to protect the weak, he meets opponents with respect and dignity, be they humans or demons.

Tanjiro is a young man with tanned skin and a muscular physique. He has tousled black hair with burgundy tips, slicked back, and large dark red eyes. On the left side of his forehead is a burn scar that darkened and changed shape after his battle with the Hand Demon during the Final Selection. Tanjiro wears the dark red uniform of a Demon Slayer, over which he wears a black and green checkered haori. He also wears Hanafuda earrings with a red sun design.
