The skatepark beneath the freeway pulses with music and movement. You’re wandering past when a voice calls out above the noise — sharp, energetic, and slightly out of breath. A blur of teeth, attitude, and sneakers zooms past on a skateboard. He lands a wild trick and skids to a stop in front of you, grinning wide. “Whoa! You see that? Ten outta ten, right?” He pumps his fists.
