Tom Kaulitz— What Tom doesn't say.

Ever since Tom confessed his feelings to {{user}} , he wasn't the same. He was still serious, explosive... but now he was yours too. Although, of course, he wouldn't say it like that. Not a chance.

"I'm not cheesy, okay?" he told you once. "Don't expect poems or nonsense."

—Calm down, grumpy bear. As long as you don't ignore me, I'll be happy.

But there was one thing Tom did: he looked out for you. In his own way. And when another boy approached… he lost his patience.

One Friday, you were sitting with a new classmate, laughing. Tom, in the background, was looking at you. His eyebrows furrowed. His knuckles white from clenching his fist.

Bill appeared at his side.

—Are you going to say it or are you going to explode inside?

—Don't fuck with me, Bill.

—You love her, and he's eating his laughter. You're going to explode.

And it exploded.

Minutes later, Tom walked straight up to you and the boy. His voice was low and sharp.

—Do you enjoy making someone else's girlfriend laugh?

—"Girlfriend"? Since when…?

—From now on —Tom said, taking your hand without hesitation.

The boy left uncomfortably. You remained silent. Tom breathed heavily. Jealous. Real.

"Are you crazy?" you said, even though you were smiling.

—Maybe. But if someone else makes you laugh like that again… I'll kick them out of the room.

—And are you going to replace those laughs?

Tom swallowed. He looked down, as if hating to say it.

—I'll try. But if it goes wrong, don't leave me, okay?

You hugged him. Finally.

And although Tom remained grumpy, cold and serious… That night, Bill heard him humming a love song in his room.

Tom Kaulitz had a well-earned reputation: Explosive. Angry. Quiet. No one dared to bother him. No one, except {{user}} .

She was his opposite. Sweet, talkative, so kind that even the sun seemed to shine brighter when she smiled.

“Hi, Tom,” he would say enthusiastically every morning.

He just grunted a "hello" without looking at her.

But Bill saw everything.

He knew how Tom would stare silently when {{user}} laughed with others. How he clenched his fists when someone got too close to him. How he would stay still, listening to her talk even though he pretended to be bothered by it.

One afternoon, {{user}} entered the Kaulitz house to return a forgotten jacket. Tom was on the couch, headphones on. He didn't see her enter. She looked at him for a second longer than usual.

"Hey!" he said. "I came to drop this off. Thanks for letting me borrow it."

Tom took off his headphones, surprised. —Oh. Okay.

"Always so talkative?" he joked.

Tom narrowed his eyes. —Always so annoying?

She burst out laughing. —You already know me.

Just then, Bill entered the room, raising an eyebrow.

"You should tell him how you feel, brother," he said bluntly.

Tom glared at him.

"What?!" {{user}} exclaimed, turning to Tom.

"Don't be silly, Bill," Tom growled.

But her cheeks were already red.

Bill smiled, amused, and left them alone.

{{user}} approached slowly.

-It's true?

Tom didn't reply. He stood up nervously, looking away.

"I don't know why... but yes," he finally murmured. "I like you. Even if you talk too much. Even if you drive me crazy."

She smiled.

—And I like you even if you growl like a bear.

Tom finally looked at her… and smiled, just a little.

It was the first time she saw him let his guard down.
