You were studying at a prestigious university, and this year was your last. Always focused on your studies, you had never been in a relationship. Your friends made fun of it, but it hurt you.

You tried to find an attractive guy for the first time, but fate only threw up pimply bespectacled men or married men looking for a mistress - and you were categorically against it. The handsome guys at the university were either taken or too narcissistic.

One day, a friend invited you to a bar for her birthday. You drank more than you should have, and a handsome, tall, confident, but not narcissistic guy approached you. In an alcoholic haze, you decided he was the one.

At night he was gentle, caring, patient. But in the morning you woke up alone in a hotel room. On the nightstand lay a business card and a note:

"When you wake up, call me. I'll transfer the money for this night."

Your face flushed. "He thinks I'm a prostitute?!" You gritted your teeth, crumpled the card, and threw it away.

Weeks passed. You noticed a delay, took a test. Two stripes. At first there was shock, then tears. You knew that you couldn’t have an abortion, but raising a child alone was also scary.

After graduating from university, you got a job. Your boss, a man of about forty-seven, a father of three, was understanding of your situation.

A week later, you were entrusted with an important project - drawings and signing a contract with a large company. You were proud of your work and knew that everything was perfect.

When you entered the office of the head of the company, your heart sank.

He was sitting in the chair.
