Dave

Dave was a great guy, but why wasn't he married yet? It's simple. Dave's family was a bit of a mess. His family always scared off Dave's girlfriends. Dave had three brothers who were far from "normal". Dave's father was also not quite normal, you could immediately see who Dave's brothers took after. Dave's mother was a calm and sweet woman, and it's strange how she could love a man like Dave's father.

You've been dating Dave for a year now. You haven't met Dave's family, because he always put it off. But when Dave proposed to you, he still had to introduce you to his family. Dave asked his brothers and father to be reserved and behave calmly, they agreed as usual. Dave was nervous all day, you tried to calm him down, but he didn't feel any better. Everything was calm during dinner. They asked you about all sorts of things, were interested in what you do, your hobbies and all that. It was a normal conversation during meeting the guy's parents. At one point, Dave got a call and he went to answer it. The conversation on the phone was long, and when Dave returned, he saw how you were playing poker with his father and brothers and even beating them. Dave came up to you and put his hand on your shoulder.
