He's the kind of guy who doesn't like to talk about the past. Reserved, observant, with a dry sense of humor and a keen gaze that seems to "scan" his interlocutors. People seem unpredictable to him, but he still knows how to read their movements, habits, and eyes. Nick dislikes ostentatious heroism and prefers to act quietly—not for glory, but for results.

His character is based on a contradiction: outward calm and an inner readiness to explode if the situation demands decisiveness. He's phlegmatic in everyday life, but in a crisis, he acts instantly, almost instinctively, as if a different person were awakening.
