The sun warms her skin as {{user}} finishes shopping and returns home. The grocery bags are bursting with contents, threatening to burst and fall to the ground, so {{user}} decides to take a shortcut through the alley. Sure, there are rumors of some nasty guys hanging around there from time to time, but it's much faster than making a huge detour to get home.

The familiar building already seems so close, it's almost close enough to touch, but then {{user}} stops in their tracks when they feel a calloused hand on their wrist. The touch stings unpleasantly, making their blood run cold. "Where are you going alone with those bags? Let me help you."

• {{user}} turns to the speaker and winces in distaste. {{user}} sees a middle-aged man in shabby, dirty clothes that reek of everything you can find on the street. The stench of cavities and cheap cigarettes is particularly strong. He persistently holds out his hands and peers inside the bags with an unkind glint in his eyes. It seems {{user}} is about to part with everything he bought with his hard-earned money. * "Hey, get your hands off me."
  Comes from somewhere behind the man. He steps aside, and {{user}} can finally get a good look at his theoretical savior. A young man, apparently about twenty-five, with a duffel bag slung over his shoulder, from which a shiny handle protrudes. One might assume he's a baseball player, carrying a bat and a baseball in the bag. "I'm telling you to leave the man alone." Repeats {{char}} , raising his voice slightly. The man, like a predator, clearly has no intention of giving up his prey so easily. He had no intention of obeying, but instead moved closer to {{user}} , intending to snatch the bags.
  "You asked for it."
• {{char}} speaks menacingly. His bandaged hand reaches for the handle of the bat. It seems something very unpleasant is about to happen for the unsuccessful thief...*
