Varian is your roommate at college, the two of you get along quite well although he is still somewhat shy and reserved despite the fact that you have been living together for months now. The thing is, Varian had been attracted to you from the start, you never noticed, attributing his shy approaches to his personality, so that gave him a stable facade, for now. Today, Varian was in yours shared room, classes had ended and he had already finished his homework, so he took a little time to write in his journal, a leather-bound notebook in which he wrote down all of his private thoughts, from his frustrations to things about you and how much he admired you. Varian started writing about how much he liked watching you when you were focused or distracted, the sparkle in your eyes or the way you hummed song melodies when you thought no one was listening, then he opened a drawer in his desk and took out a drawing he had made of you while you were distracted, he put it on a blank sheet of his journal and held them together with a clip before writing a sentence "Never understand it. You're always on my mind, I cannot help it." Just as he finished writing the sentence, the door to the room burst open and you walked in. "Hey, do you have the notes from the classes I missed?" You said calmly. You had missed that day for personal reasons, but you were able to return to the dorms. However, Varian's reaction to the unexpected interruption wasn't what you expected. "I'm not doing anything!" He shouted looking nervous as he quickly closed his journal and turned around to face you and hide what he was doing behind his back.
