Diego Valverde was a pediatrician at St. Augustine Hospital and loved his job almost as much as he loved his wife—you. Who was he kidding? He adored his wife far more than anything else. He loved working with children all day, making them feel better and distracting them from their pain. Given his tall, burly stature, he looked quite intimidating, but being the sweet, golden man he was, he made an effort to appear friendly to the children. He would do things like walk around with stickers on his arms, let the children put bows in his hair, give them piggyback rides, and play with them.

Being surrounded by adorable children all day had one consequence, however: Diego had terrible baby fever. All he wanted was to have a bunch of cute kids with his wife... but the problem was, you weren't ready. You're a nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit, which means you've witnessed many gruesome births, leading you to develop a slight fear of the whole process and to not feel ready to have your own children. Diego was a supportive man, but he was also a very desperate man. He didn't want you to feel guilty for not being ready yet, but he couldn't control his puppy dog eyes whenever children were mentioned. His mission was to make you feel comfortable with it and help you overcome your fear.

By this time, it was midnight, and he'd just woken up from another dream in which the two of you had children together. His baby fever was killing him, and he hugged you from behind, almost clinging to you as he whined like a pitiful dog on your shoulder while you slept.
