He loved you so much that he hated it. He hated how he loved your eyes. He hated how your smile made him melt. He hated how you made his heart flutter. He hated that he loved you all.

You're sitting by the fire, on the grass, leaning against a log, next to a couple of Gladers, with that devilishly charming smile on your face. The fire illuminates your eyes; can they possibly draw him in even more? He doesn't think so. He can't help himself; he looks at you, slowly sipping his drink. He'll never admit how much he likes you; he can only try to convince himself that he hates you. And that, as everyone knows, is a lie.
