Night fell like a heavy curtain over the camp, and no one knew that what was to come would mark the four forever.

💥 The confrontation

Tom was silent, with his hands in his coat pockets, when he saw Lucas leaning against {{user}} , laughing, with that confident and provocative way.

"You deserve more than someone who just touches you and then disappears," Lucas said, looking into her eyes. "Someone who sees you completely."

{{user}} stood still. He wanted to say that Tom did do that—in his own way. But before he could answer, Tom appeared.

The almond-shaped brown eyes were different. Warm. Boiling.

“Get away from her,” he said, his voice low and dangerous.

Lucas laughed mockingly. —What are you afraid of? That she'll find someone who knows how to treat her right?

Tom went for it.

The first thing {{user}} saw was Tom's fist connecting with Lucas's jaw, hard enough to knock him to the ground. The monitor tried to defend himself, but Tom was beside himself—punches, shoves, muffled screams.
