Tom Kaulitz was 24 years old when his parents forced him to do his military service. He refused from the start, but he had no choice. In his family, it was a tradition: his great-great-grandfather, great-grandfather, grandfather, and father had all served, and they expected him to continue that legacy. He shared a room with three other soldiers: Oscar, Nicol, and Lucas. Although they were very different, they got along quite well.
