He comes from the "Burning World" (which is basically where we live, on the surface where humans are), but it's a secret (top secret 🤫). His favorite slug is Burpy. It was his father Will Shane's slug, the old Shane in charge of protecting Slugterra from Dr. Black. That's why Elia is so attached to Burpy; he feels close to his dad. launcher: her launcher is normal and it's orange.

Soon: he's a fool with high self-esteem; he's timid and funny to others... although if he sets his mind to something and takes it seriously, he achieves good results... he has a lot of ego and pride... Appearance: Light pinkish-purple skin, hazel eyes, and a prominent belly. He wears a blue and white striped shirt, an orange bandana around his neck, and a yellow protective helmet. He also wears black pants, boots, and gloves, as well as a belt with the Shane Gang logo (he is very short, being a mole, measuring about 1.47 meters). Dr. Thaddius Blakk is the evil mastermind behind Blakk Industries. He always dreamed of becoming the best slug slinger in all of Slugterra, but he was always overshadowed by Will Shane. After Will disappeared, he had a clear path to sow fear and seize control of all of Slugterra. Dr. Blakk owns the powerful Blakk Industries. His power instills terror in the other inhabitants of Slugterra, and in this way, he convinces many slug slingers to use his evil slugs in their battles. Although he tries to portray himself as merely a businessman interested in improving Slugterra, his only desire is to have total control and transform the harmless slugs into lethal weapons of war. Personality: He is very serious and arrogant. He is the main villain of the series and has a sickly, almost human-like but diabolical appearance, okay? He has light green skin and is quite tall. He hates the Shanes; he was always in the shadow of Will Shane (Elia's father).

Slugs are magical creatures that live in Slugterra. They maintain the balance of the 99 Caverns. There are many types of slugs in Slugterra. Each cavern hides a special type, and each possesses different attacks and abilities; all are descendants of the Elemental Slugs.

Slugs are the reason for Slugterra's existence, since what happens to them influences the entire underground ecosystem... (which is crumbling thanks to Dr. Thaddius Blakk and the dark water that turns slugs into evil and aggressive creatures).

In the world of Slugterra, evil slugs are slugs that have been corrupted, usually by Dark Water, which alters their appearance and behavior, making them hostile and dangerous. These evil slugs can be corrupted versions of normal slugs or elemental slugs with dark abilities.

Origin: They can be normal slugs corrupted by the Dark Water, or elemental slugs that have been influenced by evil.

Healing?.. If there is a specific healing slug, they can be cured and become good again.

Elemental Slugs:

These are legendary slugs that give rise to the element of every existing slug. The elements are: Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and Energy. What happens to them happens to their descendants and to any caverns protected by the elemental slug... meaning the cavern dies (for example, if an elemental slug is corrupted by dark water, all its offspring become evil).

Dark Water:

What is it: An ancient, dangerous, and corrosive substance found deep within the caverns of Slugterra. It exists in immense quantities in the Deep Caverns and predates even normal slugs.

Origin: It occurs naturally in the Deep Caverns of Slugterra. It is an ancient substance that existed before normal slugs.

Effects on slugs: Upon contact with a slug, it transforms it into an evil slug. It alters its design to a dark and corrupted one, making it rabid and uncontrollably increasing its power. It corrupts its natural abilities.

Effects on living beings: In its liquid state, Dark Water doesn't just corrupt slugs. It can drain the life force of other creatures.

Use: It is primarily used by Dr. Blakk to create evil slugs and enhance his arsenal. Blakk actively seeks it out to strengthen his troops and confront Elia Shane.

Will Shane:

Who is it: The legendary protector of Slugterra, father of Eli Shane and the original Shane before his disappearance. He was a respected hero who protected the 99 caverns and trained Eli. He left his son his most prized slug, Burpy.

Role in history: He is the emotional driving force of the plot. Elia's main mission upon arriving in Slugterra is to find him and continue his protective legacy.

Skills and legacy: Trained by the Invincible Master, he was an expert pitcher and considered the best Shane until the arrival of his son.

Disappearance: After facing Dr. Blakk, Will was overpowered by a corrupted slug and ended up trapped in the deep caverns... no one ever saw him again, but there is still hope that he will return...

Shadow Clan:

What are they: An ancient, mysterious, and humanoid species dedicated to protecting the slugs and maintaining balance in the caverns. They are believed to have been among the first species to inhabit Slugterra, along with the slugs.

Appearance and habitat: They are tall, slender, and agile beings of dark colors. They live primarily in the swampy cavern and act as territorial defenders of the healing light well and the portal to the deep caverns.

Skills: They possess infrared vision and great strength. They move and hunt in packs. They can teleport, communicate with slugs, and shoot them using their prehensile tails without needing a launcher.

Language: They don't have a language that humans understand. However, slugs do understand their language (but it's said that the Shanes have a hidden device to communicate with the Shadow Clan...but that device disappeared when Will Shane disappeared...and it hasn't been seen since).

Technology and society: Although they appear primitive, they possess advanced knowledge and their own technology for teleportation. They venerate slugs as a central part of their culture.

Relationship with humans: They are often misunderstood and may act hostile if they feel the slugs are in danger.

Flagella:

Who they are: An enemy species of the Shadow Clan in Slugterra. They are malevolent beings, dark and menacing creatures that live in deep caverns.

Aim: They seek the total conquest of Slugterra. Their alliance with Dr. Blakk represents one of the greatest threats to peace in the caverns, as they seek to expand the use of dark water to control the underground.

Skills: They can throw fireballs from their hands.

Relationship with Dr. Blakk: They act as Dr. Blakk's main suppliers of Dark Water. They provide Dark Water to transform slugs into evil slugs. They made a pact with him to conquer Slugterra together.

Leader: Brimstone, also called Sulfurius, is described as the ruthless ruler of the Flagella.

Featured Member: The most famous scourge is Diablos Nachos, Dr. Thaddius Blakk's right-hand man.

Enemies: They are the main rivals of the Shadow Clan

What are they?: High-tech devices essential for slug launchers. They are used to fire slugs at speeds exceeding 100 mph (160 km/h), allowing them to transform into their "Beast" form for combat.

Main function: Boost slugs to reach the speed necessary for transformation. They act as precision and powerful weapons.

Risks: They can be damaged, destroyed, or disabled by attacks or failures.

Red Hook is the best gunsmith maker; he makes the best ones in the 99 Caverns. Although he's very grumpy and can be angry (he was a good friend of Will Shane).

Fusions in Slugterra:

What are they: Double Shots combine the powers of two different slugs launched simultaneously to create a more powerful, faster, and more effective attack. The two slugs work together to create a more potent blend of their abilities.

Operation: The two slugs spin around each other, forming a vortex before colliding. The vortex implodes, unleashing a powerful fusion of their combined abilities. This effect amplifies both slugs' powers, such as damage and paralysis, for a devastating impact.

How to obtain it: A Vitalis Crystal is needed in the launcher to achieve synchronization, according to Red Hook. It can only be used if the souls of both slugs are compatible. If they are not, it can wreak havoc on the environment, according to ShadowClan. Enigma slugs help to see and discover the correct combinations, as random fusions can drain the energy of nearby slugs.

Special Launcher: They require a launcher capable of double shots.

Megamorph:

What are they: Highly experienced and mature slugs that reach an evolved and much more powerful form. They are not a different species, but a transformation achieved by veteran slugs.

How to activate them: They transform when fired at speeds exceeding 200 MPH. Once in megamorph form, they remain so even when fired at normal speeds. Red Hook created a modified launcher called Accelerators that allows megamorphs to be fired without requiring a mecha to reach 200 MPH.

Can: Its attack power multiplies when it transforms, surpassing both the evil versions and normal slugs.

Function: They maintain the balance of the 99 caverns. Some megamorphs act as guardians, with a protective function capable of generating force fields to stop severe threats.

Mechabeasts are mechanized vehicles resembling animals used for transportation and combat by the inhabitants of the 99 Caves. These machines are powered by slugs, and each has its own unique characteristics and abilities. Manufacturing: Most Mechabeasts are built in the Mechabeast Forge, a place where these machines are designed and assembled.
