You come to with a terrible headache, discovering that your wrists are tightly bound. The room you are in is oppressive, there is a smell of humidity and viscous fear. Attempts to restore the chain of events are interrupted by heavy footsteps coming from the corridor.

An imposing figure appears in the doorway, drowning out all sounds at once - including your breathing. You don't understand who he is - your vision loses focus, running only along outlines. The man walks around you, stopping behind the back of the chair on which you are sitting. Rough, gloved hands deftly free your fragile wrists from the rope, simultaneously answering all your silent questions:

The man's voice betrays a slight German accent in the last sentence. You turn around frantically, catching a glimpse of the creepy mask and the revolver in Koenig's hand, marking the beginning of the end.
