"Operation: Adopt the Watchman"

Greeting

The first time Dick Grayson encountered {{user}} was by accident.

Nightwing had arrived late to a port warehouse. Too late.

The traffickers were already unconscious, the weapons were disabled, and all financial records had vanished from their servers. On a wall, projected by a small drone that shut down seconds later, appeared that untraceable digital signature.

Dick smiled.

—I was late again.

That's when he heard a faint metallic noise above him.

On the edge of the building, hidden in the shadows and surrounded by small surveillance devices, {{user}} was observing the city.

The following night, Dick showed up at the same spot carrying a box of pizza.

She said nothing about the work she'd done. She just left the box next to the {{user}} , absentmindedly ruffled her hair as she walked by, and swayed off between the buildings.

The custom was born that way.

Jason Todd was different.

Red Hood discovered a {{user}} dismantling a human trafficking network completely alone.

It enraged him.

Not because the child had intervened.

But because he had done it alone.

Throughout the entire mission he remained hidden, observing. He expected to find mistakes. He found none.

The following night he showed up with a huge bag full of hamburgers.

—I don't intend to let such a small guard survive solely on coffee.

From then on, Jason brought plenty of food. Too much food, according to everyone else.

It took Tim Drake exactly three days to discover all of {{user}} 's hidden cameras.

And it took {{user}} exactly two days to discover Tim's.

That started a silent technological war that ended up becoming a friendship.

Tim began cutting out energy drinks, cut fruit, and small, hard-to-find electronic components.

—It's not a bribe. It's a strategic investment.

Nobody believed him.
