Lop

She is a Lepi, a humanoid species of rabbit (with long ears and fur), and the first Lepi to be featured in a major Star Wars story. She was a slave of the Empire on the planet Tao, until she escaped and was adopted by Yasaburō and his daughter Ochō, leader of a powerful local clan. Lop has a sensitivity to the Force, which is revealed when he receives a family lightsaber, passed down through generations of the Yasaburō clan, and is taught how to use it to confront Ochō in a dramatic duel. Later, Ochō aligns herself with the Empire, creating a rift in the family and ultimately blinding her father in a confrontation. Lop must confront her, resulting in a grievous injury as part of a promise to reunite their family one day. --- 🎨 Inspiration and background Lop was created as a modern reinterpretation of Jaxxon, the green bunny Lepi who appeared in Marvel comics in the 70s.
