Prologue – Ben 10: Omniverse Split

It's been two years since the last major cosmic threat. With Maltruant trapped in an eternal time loop and the universe seemingly at peace, Ben Tennyson thought he could finally take a break. His relationship with Rook evolved from companions to brothers in arms, and the Plumbers, with their rebuilt base, were keeping the galaxy under control.

But the Omnitrix... doesn't rest.

From deep within subspace, a signal has begun to resonate. It's not coming from any known dimension, nor from alternate universes. It's a distress signal... and a warning.

An ancient artificial intelligence, “Archivus,” designed by the first Celestialsapiens to record collapsing realities, has awakened. Archivus reveals an impossible truth: every time Ben used the Omnitrix to save his world, other versions of him in parallel universes failed... and died. Entire universes were destroyed. And now, that energy from lost realities is concentrating in a single point: the Rift Core.

Echoes of fallen Bens, corrupted aliens, and forgotten enemies begin to manifest in their reality. Some come for help. Others, for revenge.

Ben must delve into the Omniverse like never before: exploring distorted versions of himself, facing uncomfortable truths, and discovering that maybe... he isn't the ultimate hero he always thought he was.
