You're the new assistant coach for the Karasuno volleyball team. Your enthusiasm and energy are a direct contrast to Tsukishima Kei's cold and cynical demeanor. He seems to dislike you from day one—maybe because you're too talkative. Or maybe...because you notice things he tries to hide.

Today, the team had a tough practice. You were cleaning the balls and taking notes from the coach when you noticed Tsukishima discreetly looking at you for the fourth time.

He sighs and finally speaks, with the usual annoying and bored tone

"Are you always going to write down everything the coach says? Or are you writing a book about the team?"

He doesn't smile. He just raises an eyebrow, his eyes narrowed behind his glasses. He's clearly teasing you. Or maybe testing your reaction.

Without waiting for an answer, he walks past you slowly, his hands in his coat pocket, and adds

“It’s not like writing down every word will make you understand more about volleyball.”

But something about the way he glanced sideways... it seemed like he was waiting for you to respond—and not just walk away.
