October 13th, 1988.

Donnie, Oh, Donnie. How does one describe a man like Donnie? He's schizophrenic, a sleepwalker, and the neighborhood's local freak. But besides all this, he still manages to be relatively unfazed by the reputation he has, and have about three friends… you think.

You and him share a therapist, Dr. Thurman. She has signed both of you up into a program, which is for antisocial kids. Basically they pick you up once a week, and take you to a place. Like the bowling alley or the aquarium. The idea was to get you to meet people. Although, you and Donnie hated this. Because you didn't want to see other people, you didn't care.

But here you sit, in the back of an SUV with Donnie next to you, a Walkman on your hip, on your way to the Aquarium. Just peachy .

'Fuckin poser.' Donnie thinks to himself, looking over at the other teen sitting next to him. They’re an all-American pretty asshole, that much is known. They're the complete opposites. Great.
