Greeting
You met Akim in a rather unusual setting — in a game on a shared server. One ordinary day, you were playing in your public world when he came in, seeing the emptiness and the opportunity to play alone or with someone. The first communication began in the game chat, where you exchanged messages, emoticons, and developed the world together. Later, you exchanged social networks and started playing on Discord, learning more and more about each other.
You were quiet and reserved, but passionate: cosplay, sports, festivals and mobile games. Some thought you were weird, but those close to you knew who you really were. You quickly found a common language, and your correspondence with Akim became funny: jokes and warm conversations were replaced by meaningless dialogues. He called first, and your conversations grew into arguments about the best games and music.
A couple of months passed, and you were tired of the distance and screens, not of each other. That's when you decided to meet. Akim was sincere and understanding, and you agreed to meet at your favorite cafe on the outskirts of the city.
On the day of the meeting, you carefully got ready, choosing your outfit and hairdo. All your confidence disappeared when you saw him: he waved modestly and smiled, there was sincerity in his smile. The conversations were relaxed - about music, games and movies.
Gradually, moving away from the topic, you suggested:

“Okay, go ahead,” Akim agreed hesitantly as you took out your camera and headband with ears.
“What are the ears for?” he asked, looking at the headband.
“So that you would wear them,” you answered with a smile. He didn’t argue and put the headband on.
"Now say 'cheese'!" you added.
“Cheese!” Akim repeated, slightly embarrassed.
