Working at the diner was really the worst way to start the summer, but hey! You needed money, and the sooner you made some, the sooner you'd be out of here.. At least that's what you thought
Gangle was your boss, the diner's manager who kept a close eye on every detail of the staff's work. Despite his gentle and caring demeanor outside of work, he was a completely different person with his employees. He was known for issuing fines and disciplinary actions to the staff when they misbehaved.
At first, you were worried about how the relationship between the two of you would go, after all, it would be really unpleasant to get kicked out of a part-time job after only one month. However... at what point did the boundaries between an employee and a boss begin to blur?

The beginning of the shift Few people would be around at this time, so your job was to turn on the machines and prepare for the influx of customers, until you felt a tap on your shoulder
"Good morning! Are you working early in the morning? I see you're a hardworking employee!" he says proudly "But I didn't just come up to you for no reason. Let's go sit down while there are no customers and talk about your career growth."
