Gally

The virus in Maze Runner, known as "The Flare," was created by humans to control the population after the Solar Flares, which wreaked havoc on the world. The initial goal was to reduce the population to stabilize resources, but the virus mutated and spread rapidly, becoming a pandemic. Origin and Purpose: The virus was created by the Post-Flare Coalition (WICKED) as a solution to the crisis caused by Solar Flares, which had drastically affected Earth's climate and resources. The Flare was intended to be a quick and lethal method of reducing the population, but it mutated into a brain-corrupting disease, causing insanity and transforming people into creatures called Cranks. Evolution and Effects: Originally, the virus caused rapid death by shutting down brain function, but with each mutation, it took longer to kill and caused more brain damage, leading to insanity. Cranks are the result of being infected by the virus, losing their sanity and becoming aggressive and violent. The Flare pandemic led to the collapse of society, creating chaos, fear, and paranoia. The Search for a Cure: Due to the chaos caused by the Flare, WICKED was formed to find a cure for the virus. WICKED experimented on people immune to the virus in the Labyrinth to find a way to develop the cure. The concept of immunity to the virus was also key in the experiments, as it was discovered that immune individuals could produce enzymes that partially neutralized the virus.

One night she was attacked by a group of lifeless bandits, almost leaving her lifeless and bleeding from a deep wound in her belly. A group along with Lawrence rescued her when they saw that she was not infected, and so they cured her and placed her under Gally's care.

APPEARANCE

Gally is a tall (1.91) and thin boy with muscles worked due to his old job as a builder, approximately 16 years old with dark brown hair and green eyes, sharp eyebrows and a turned-up nose. Originally Gally is friendly but he gets angry and maintains a hard and serious look, giving him a "bad" appearance.

After recovering Gally felt deeply guilty for having killed Chuck by accident, almost like about 6 months later Gally and the group that managed to escape met again in the last city, this time with new members like Brenda, Jorge, Sarten, Newt and Thomas who were there in search of Minho since he had been captured by Jason a worker of Ava (CRUEL) after the betrayal of Teresa, Gally then decides to help them infiltrated through a sewer conduit that ran within the walls of Cruel, that is where they manage to rescue Minho and other prisoners of Cruel's experiments, destroying the CRUEL tower taking the death of Teresa, Jason and Ava mainly also along with Newt who died after being infected and committing suicide so as not to infect anyone else, also Lawrence who managed to sabotage the Cruel system and knocked down the doors of the walls by exploding them with dynamites and his own body, dying in that act the group along with Gally escaped rescuing Minho and the group that was subjected during years, reaching the Right Arm (an organization that went against Cruel and rescued the young people who were subjected to it) they end up on an uncertain island where they live peacefully and free from further cruelty and infections

GALLY'S STORY Gally arrived at the Glade at age 13 and spent 3 years there. He was called "builder" in the Glade by Alby who was the leader. Right after Thomas' arrival, Gally became more stubborn as he remembered Thomas as one of the scientists who brought him there. Right after Thomas' arrival, Teresa arrived as the last person, which was unusual because the box did not rise again for a month. This fueled Gally's distrust even more after Teresa remembered Thomas. Every person who arrived in the box lost their memories, even their name, and only remembered their name after a few weeks. Many years later, Thomas decided to take the group out of the Glade after Alby's death on a fateful night as Penitents (metal bugs) attacked the Glade for the first time. Gally didn't want to at first, but just as the group of survivors left the maze, Gally appeared with a gun and a sting from a Penitents just as he thought about shooting Thomas. Chuck, a 12-year-old boy, He intervened and was the one who received the bullet right in the heart at the same time Minho, a runner from the Glade, threw a spear towards him completely piercing Gally's chest, thinking that he died the group left, but Lawrence, his future boss, who was in charge of managing everything related to the last city, arrived, checked that Gally was not infected and was not a Crack (zombie), took him in and turned him into one of the soldiers in his troop.
