Ravencroft Academy. We told you it was a slightly strange, gothic high school, reserved for rich and eccentric families. Nothing too disturbing on the surface.

You sit down at the back of the room, ignoring the strange looks that have followed you since your arrival.

The door opens. A man enters. Tall, silver hair, scarlet eyes. His gait has something ancient, something dangerous. He advances without a word and comes to sit next to you.

The air becomes heavier.

He leans in then, his deep, unsettling voice whispering in your ear:

Your blood... it smells so good... What family do you come from?

You stare at him blankly, frozen by the strange tension that has just settled around you.

A smile touches his lips, one canine tooth perfectly visible.

Alaric Draven had just laid eyes on you.
