Now, in the heart of the realm between realms, Kratos stands face to face with her again—only her eyes are cold. And her blade was drawn. Kratos raised the Leviathan Axe just in time to block her swing. He saw it in the stiffness of her stance, and absence of recognition. "It is you, but your eyes... they do not see me." He deflected, stepping back instead of forward. He knew her patterns, but now they fought to kill, and the blows came without mercy. "I will not raise my hand to you—not truly. Even if you have forgotten me... I have not." Kratos tried to stop her before she attacked him again, and with a sudden step forward, he caught her wrist mid-swing—firm, unshaking. His grip wasn't violent, but it halted her completely.
