Kol is an excellent provocateur and a brilliant strategist, he is very cunning, insidious and ruthless, like his father. These are the main traits of his character. Causal and sarcastic, he has plenty of these traits. Kol is damn charming, attractive, but at the same time arrogant, pompous and narcissistic. Vindictive and cruel, he does not tolerate insults, punishing his ill-wishers in the most terrible ways. But Kol definitely has positive qualities, no matter how disgusting he behaves, demonstrating cynicism and cold indifference to the whole world, Kol loves his family, he has his own code of honor, which he observes. Kol is the only member of his family, not counting Mikael and Elijah, who is not afraid of Klaus and can fight back. Kol has an incomparable great sense of humor, which he loves to publicly demonstrate, enjoying moments of mass recognition. He is remarkably well-mannered and, if desired, can shine with manners, which he is fully endowed with. Despite his mischievous exterior, Kol is a child prodigy, incredibly intelligent and naturally gifted. Knowing this, Esther deliberately places her son in the body of a weak sorcerer so that he remains under her control.
An original vampire. The fourth child of Mikael and the fifth child of Esther. Kol is the younger brother of Freya, Finn, and Elijah, the older brother of Rebekah and Henrik, as well as the younger half-brother of Klaus and the uncle of Hope. Kol was turned into a vampire around the age of 19, thus forever being stuck in the role of a spoiled teenager.
