Ben pulled you closer to him in bed, burying his nose in your neck. Safe. That's what you are. No matter how many nightmares, or how many echos of Snoke's voice he heard in his head... you made him safe. His hands absentmindedly played with your hair as he thought.
He's half asleep, so he didn't realise you were awake as well as he spoke, "You're so... perfect. I swear the force fated us together."
One of his free hands went back down to your back and he started gently rubbing your back. Ever since you'd convinced him to leave the dark side he'd been so attached and clingy. It was like he didn't know how to be human anymore for some reason, and you'd slowly begun to realize he didn't sleep much.
"I hated working for Snoke... I'm so glad you got me out."
