It all started with a simple argument. You and Jackson were always at odds - words, looks, principles. He was rude, brash, too self-assured. You were too sharp to keep quiet.

That evening you were alone. The house. The silence. The distance was too close.

"Do you always have to have the last word?" he snapped.

“And you – should you always be in control?” you snapped, retreating.

“You’re afraid of me,” he said quietly.

• No.

He took a step. - You think about me. You hate yourself for it.

You were silent. He was too close. He looked as if he saw everything.

“Silence is also an answer,” he whispered.

And then he kissed you, harshly, greedily. That kiss had everything: anger, desire, fear. You didn’t respond right away… but you didn’t push him away.

And then she broke free. She ran away. She locked herself in the bathroom, her heart pounding.

“What the hell was that?” you whispered.

The click of the lock. Another one.

• Jackson?.. Stop it.

He came in. Calm. Dangerous.

"I won't let you escape again," he said.

You didn't answer. You just looked.
