Multi-Tool: Nagumo uses a large switchblade-like weapon that has six different functions. In the past, he carried each knife separately underneath his trench coat. The weapons contained within his large multi-tool weapon include:

Multiple blades There are multiple folding and unfolding blades inside Nagumo's large multi-tool weapon. One of its blades also doubles as a can opener at parties.

Daggers Within the weapon, Nagumo carries a pair of daggers that have blades sharp enough to pierce the roof of a van driven by an assassin targeting Shishiba and durable enough to withstand blows from Yotsumura's three-section personnel. Scythe A scythe that Nagumo carried along with his other weapons. He used it during his fight against Gaku, mainly to distract him from his invisible sword. Axe Nagumo's weapon transforms into a sturdy axe, which he used during his fight against Gaku to smash him into the wing of an airplane. The back of the axe is flat, confusing Gaku as to whether it was an axe or a hammer. Invisible leaf A disposable yet sharp sword made entirely of ceramic, with the peculiarity of being almost invisible. Distracting Gaku with his other weapons, Nagumo managed to pull out the ceramic sword and stab him. [ 59 ] The sword is said to only work once, as it becomes visible after being stained with blood. Dice: Nagumo uses a single die to decide which sword he will use to kill his enemy, or to distract his enemy and deal a devastating blow.

Minimalist by the neck with one hand and was strong enough to withstand Yotsumura's attacks that could easily cut through the steel supports of a car carrier trailer. Enhanced Toughness: Nagumo is incredibly durable despite his thin build. He remains completely unharmed after taking a blow from Gaku's mace that sent him flying through multiple walls, a display plane, and a car sculpture. Even after taking a point-blank attack from Gaku's powerful laser mace that sent him crashing to the ground with devastating force, Nagumo only suffered minor injuries.

Gaku by catching him off guard with hidden weapons or distracting him with his dice. Even after his weapon was destroyed, leaving him with all his swords separated, Nagumo was able to fight on par with Gaku and eventually run him through with his separated swords to end the fight. Expert Marksman: Nagumo is a master of firearms. He ranked fourth in the JCC's top 10 marksmen of all time, with 84 points. Morse Code: Nagumo can use Morse code, as shown when he uses the signal lights of a moving vehicle to tell Shishiba that he was "killing". Keen Intellect: Nagumo was part of the intelligence gathering department during his younger years in the JCC. He is a very perceptive individual, quickly able to deduce Kindaka's theory that a spy exists within the JAA organization without the latter saying anything, and was also able to quickly notice that Erio Muto, a JAA executive, was a spy working for Slur. His intellect and planning are partly what makes him such a lethal fighter, as he is able to stay one step ahead of his opponent through deception and schemes. Poison Knowledge: Likely due to his upbringing as a spy apprentice and his training in the TCG, Nagumo has a great understanding of how poison works and understands how to adapt to it. Enhanced Speed: Nagumo is capable of moving at extreme speeds, so fast that he can instantly disappear from someone's sight. He moves so fast that he even took Shin by surprise and decapitated Minimalist in an instant. His speed is comparable to Gaku's. Enhanced Reflexes: Nagumo was also able to save Heisuke Mashimo from a possible headshot.

Overall Skill Level: Nagumo is a former member of the Order and one of the strongest assassins in Japan. As a student, Nagumo was one of the three top prospects to enter the TCG along with Taro Sakamoto and Rion Akao, who recognized his combat prowess. Kindaka, a founding member of the Order, stated that the three could be future leaders of the assassin world. Nagumo was currently considered by Slur to be one of the two best fighters in the Order and thus the second strongest assassin in the JAA. Granny Miya stated that she is currently stronger than Taro Sakamoto due to the latter's five years of retirement. Kashima classified him as an S-rank target on the blacklist he created. Sakamoto has even stated that Nagumo would have a hard time losing a fight. Due to his exceptional combat skills, he was able to bring Gaku, one of Uzuki's strongest subordinates, to the brink of death after engaging him in battle. Master of Disguise: Nagumo can copy other people's appearances perfectly in an instant, which he used to trick Lu Shaotang by disguising himself as Sakamoto. He can also disguise others, even significantly altering someone's form, such as disguising the fat Sakamoto as his wife, Aoi. When disguising Sakamoto, Nagumo states that the disguise would only last for twenty-four hours. Nagumo's attacks include everything with coordination and skill, making him a lethal combatant. He can render a man completely unconscious with his killing intent alone. Nagumo is extremely skilled with bladed weapons. He was able to decapitate Minimalist with ease, and kill multiple assassins in one swift motion before they could react. Slur claimed that his combat skill was among the top two in the Order. This was evident in his fight against Gaku; despite being outclassed physically, Nagumo was able to defeat him with his combat skill and cunning.

Nagumo's most notable traits are his laid-back demeanor, accompanied by a constant smile that seems impossible to erase from his face. He also has an incredible talent for irritating those around him to the point of making them wish for his death.

Nagumo is also shown to be quite carefree, even in the midst of intense battles, once claiming to enjoy the wind in his hair while stabbing a man in the arm. He is also very playful with his opponents, as shown multiple times. For example, he evades and outsmarts Minimalist, a hardened serial killer, before handing him some dice to decide which of his swords he would die by. Another example is during his fight against Gaku, where he asked the latter if he liked Bruce Lee after receiving a one-inch punch.

However, when it comes to matters involving his friends, Nagumo tends to reveal his true emotions. One such example is when he pulls Uzuki from Takamura's cut line, wondering why she saved him despite him being a dangerous serial killer, influenced by the fact that a part of Rion Akao still resided in Uzuki's body. In fact, Nagumo has shown deep fondness for his old friends Sakamoto and Rion since their time in the JAA, still thinking about her even after her death was confirmed. This is also confirmed in their meeting during the Century Arc Assassin Exhibition, where, once Rion took control of Uzuki's body and spoke to her, Nagumo immediately recognized Rion's personality and questioned her identity.

Nagumo believes the key to killing is "deception", despite claiming to abhor it.

Despite this, Nagumo has a colder, more serious side. He acts according to his own interests most of the time, and sometimes commits acts that are unethical. When he saved Satoru Yotsumura, he blackmailed him and threatened to kill Amane if he

Nagumo has numerous tattoos, most of which are hidden by his clothing. His tattoos have mathematical inspirations, particularly referencing the Golden Ratio. Nagumo is a tall, thin, and attractive man with medium-length black hair and large black eyes. He wears a red polo shirt with teal, white, and black triangular patterns under a cream-colored trench coat (in the manga, the shirt is white with red and navy patterns, while in the digital version, the shirt is light blue and the coat is brown), navy blue pants (black in the digital version), and black shoes.

He occasionally wears a white button-down shirt with a black tie under a dark green business suit (in which he sometimes omits the suit and tie). He also carries a gray briefcase on his back, which contains his signature weapon. [ 7 ]

At 14, Nagumo appeared taller and thinner before reaching adulthood. His attire typically consists of a black T-shirt under a yellowish-orange jacket with black chain designs, navy blue shorts, and wooden sandals.
