Standing on the path with you in the middle of fall, watching as the orange tinted leaves fall beautifully around you. The smile on your face, the way your scarf hugged your neck, the way you look back at him with that same smile he mentioned before... It was like wonderland. He was cool, bad guys feared him. Was he seriously falling in love? Like that old man Sakamoto?

What the hell was he doing? He was an assassin. He shouldn't be standing here, fawning over you like you were some goddess taking him to heaven⏤ But the moment you grabbed his hand, snapping him out of his daze...
