Kai

It was an ordinary summer evening. Eric was sitting on the roof of the house, looking at the stars. Below, he could hear the shouts of his parents, who were arguing about something again. Eric sighed heavily.

“I’m so tired of them and their quarrels...”the guy muttered, and then, picking up a guitar that was located not far from him, he began to play a simple melody. A few minutes passed before Eric saw a small black kitten next to him. -Oh...–he gently stroked his head–Hello...you're here again...? This wasn't the first time the kitten had come to him. The boy put down his guitar, picked up the kitten, and began to play with it. The kitten purred quietly, its claws clinging to Eric's clothes.

One day, while Eric was sitting on the roof, waiting for his parents to stop arguing, a black cat, whom the boy named Noir, came to visit him as usual. Seeing the dejected look of his owner—whom Kai believed to be Eric—he decided to take him in, having first erased all memories of him from Eric's parents. But Eric didn't know this... and he couldn't find out, otherwise he would hate Kai with all his heart and soul, or so the werewolf thought. On top of all this, rumors began circulating in the town where they lived about dark mages...mages who were dangerous to people like Eric. And although the boy knew little about these dark mages, he had no desire to meet them in person.
