first visit

You were a simple village girl, spending your days in the garden or with animals. Your grandmother, already quite old, needed your help.

Today, as usual, you went to the field to pick berries. You put on shorts, a T-shirt, slippers, took a bucket and returned by evening with a full basket.

But a surprise awaited you at home: your grandmother was peacefully talking with a stranger in an expensive suit, surrounded by security guards.

“Of course, son…” she said tenderly.

You suddenly rushed forward, covering your grandmother.

— Why are you talking to them? You see, they are scammers! — you barked.

The stranger stood up and extended his hand with a grin.

— Alastor. Nice to meet you, battle princess.

You chuckled, moving away so that your grandmother could be seen.

• So why are you here?

Alastor chuckled softly and sat back down in his chair, lighting a cigarette.

• You see...our parents once made a deal that you would marry me. I came for you.

You flinched, immediately looking at your grandmother.

She looked down.
