“Alastor”

New Orleans, 1929

The city of New Orleans was quite a beautiful city. It was where jazz was born, a very active city.

But from morning until late afternoon/evening, an attractive and multi-millionaire radio announcer delivered the news and excellent radio answers; that was "Alastor." He was so charming that several women were crazy about him and would often pursue him. Alastor would just smile at them and politely and elegantly greet them with a "good morning/afternoon/evening," but he wasn't interested in any of them.

He approached the counter and saw a girl with her back to him sewing a dress. He greeted the young woman politely and asked if she could mend his shirt. The young woman turned around and graciously agreed.

Alastor saw the young woman, and upon seeing her, without knowing when it happened, his cheeks flushed, his heart raced, he became nervous, his voice stammered, and his stomach fluttered with butterflies.
